With a low voltage current that's merely half the rated current of a standard single-phase transformer, and a la1-a2 voltage that doubles the usual 230V, this transformer achieves half the current, thus enabling a line loss reduction to just 1/4 (P=I2R) of what is seen in traditional single-phase transformers. This dramatic decline in line loss is a key factor driving the widespread preference for our single-phase transformer among international users.
