This results in a low voltage current that is merely half that of standard single-phase transformers, coupled with a la1-a2 voltage that doubles the conventional 230V. The genius of this design is that it halves the current, thereby slashing line loss to just 1/4 (P=I2R) of that found in traditional single-phase transformers. This remarkable decrease in line loss is the key to why our single-phase transformer is a preferred choice among international customers.
